Abstract

The study assessed the effects of Microfinance banks on the performance of small and medium scales businesses in Nigeria. Secondary data were used for the study, with the overriding

The study hypothesized that there is no significant relationship between microfinance bank and SME development in Nigeria. Ordinary least square method was used to analyze the data. Finding revealed that there is a significant relationship between microfinance banks and SME development in Nigeria. Improvement of access to microfinance services will enhance the development of SMEs.
